History on a Pinhead

The Duncan family settled here in the late 1870s and donated land for a (two-teacher) school that opened in 1892. No population figures are available for the 20th Century but the school consolidated with the Sharp ISD in the 1930s and Duncan disappeared from maps prior to WWII.
