Press' 1997 Carnegie Libraries Across America: A Public Legacy
by Theodore Jones. Out of the 34 Carnegie Libraries built in Texas,
only five are still serving as libraries (Ballinger, Bryan, Franklin,
Jefferson and Stamford)
