Note:
Roxton
was very interesting to me. The town
appears to have put some effort into preserving what they have.
These bridges are within about a 100-150 yard stretch of creek at
the north side of town.
The highway is just an standard concrete bridge. Supports to an old
wooden bridge are visible in the water. - Mike

Located
on FM 38 as you enter the town from the north, this bridge is one
of only three to exist in Texas - a WPA railroad bridge that was built
using bricks and mortar. The rail line that once crossed over the
small but scenic Denton Creek has been dismantled, and nature is slowly
but surely growing over this beautiful example of Depression architecture.
