History on a Pinhead

Settled sometime before 1891 (when it was granted a post office), not much is known about tiny Comet.

The 1896 population was listed as a mere 10. It did have a school in 1899 when it had 30 students.

The post office closed in 1905 and the town was soon dropped from maps.
