FAIR PARK

by Clint Skinner

36. The Swine Building

During the exposition, the Swine Building was given the unglamorous title of Livestock Building Number 2. Its name then changed to reflect the function it served. Over the years, the activities have expanded beyond swine contests. The structure has hosted goat and sheep competitions in addition to agricultural contests for kids. It recently served as the venue for livestock auctions, which are conducted to help raise money for the college tuition of the sellers.
