History in a Pecan
ShellPresley's
story is short. A store was opened by one William R. Presley. He applied for a
post office and served as postmaster after it was granted in 1901. It closed in
1904 and sometime between then and now, the town disappeared.

Forum: Subject: Presley, Texas I was wondering if
you could give me some information on an old Texas ghost town called Presley,
Texas. If you could give me directions to drive to Presley I would really appreciate
it a lot. - John Hendricks, October 25, 2011 | |
