History on
a Pinhead
Named for the soaring
Teacup “Mountain” to the west of the site, not much is known of this
community other than there were 10 inhabitants at one time and they
were served by a single store.
The post office “may” have been located in the general store according
to The Handbook of Texas. 1947 was the last year anyone bothered to
count the number of residents and now there’s no one left to ask.
