The
1908 (Second) Randall County Courthouse - Canyon,
Texas Date
- 1908 Architect - Robert G. Kirsch Style - Texas Renaissance Material
- Brick The clock tower, removed in the 1945 remodeling,
was restored, and the courthouse exterior repaired. A rededication ceremony for
the exterior restoration was held October 12, 2010.
According to The
Courthousese of Texas by Kelsy and Dyal, an annex was built in 1957.

Randall County Courthouse - Canyon,
Texas
Photographer's Note: "The 1968 courthouse, attached to the north side
of the 1908 courthouse, was a modern brick and stone structure designed by architects
and engineers Clayton B. Shiver and Russell A. Megert. The 1968 building was demolished
when restoration work began on the 1908 courthouse." |
