construction
Destroyed by fire in 1890
Having predated the organization of the county (in 1889) Hayrick
became the county seat. The first two log courthouses fell victim
to arsonists and when an election (1891) was held to decide between
Robert Lee and Hayrick,
Hayrick lost. |
