History on a Pinhead:
Although there are Valley Views in Cook, Comal, Dewitt, Martin, Midland, Mitchell,
Runnels and Witchita Counties, this one is not listed in the Handbook of Texas.
It’s almost certain that the community’s proximity to the county seat curtailed
growth.
