Jase Graves has received humor writing awards from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, The Texas Press Association, and Writer's Digest. He has also been honored by the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop as Humor Writer of the Month in June of 2017. In June of 2022, he was recognized a third time by the NSNC for his work with the Kilgore News Herald.

    Jase Graves is an award winning columnist and a regular contributor to the Erma Bombeck Writer's Workshop, which named him Humor Writer of the Month for June 2017. He writes a regular column for The Kilgore News Herald and is nationally syndicated with Cagle Cartoons Inc. He is a married father of three daughters and writes about home and family issues.
